Hello and welcome to the Hellsing RPG. Thank you for considering us for your role-playing needs. Below is a list of rules I expect everyone to follow upon joining with the forum. They are as followed:
1.) Respect!
I don't expect everyone to get along, but I do expect people to respect the forum and keep personal disputes off of it. If you have a personal dispute with another member take it somewhere private. If you can't solve a dispute then please contact a member of staff and we'll do our best to take care of it.
2.) No Spam!
Spamming means one word responses, one liners, or spamming your site link all over the board. You can advertise your site on your profile and that's it. The only place where the former two are allowed is in the Forum Games section.
3.) No Hotlinking!
Please do not hotlink an image you see on another site and host it here. Please use a free hosting service such as Image Shack, Photo Bucket, or Imgur.
4.) No Godmodding!
Godmodding is when you have an all powerful character with no weaknesses. This is simply not how role playing works. Please give your character weaknesses and flaws.
5.) No Powerplaying!
Powerplaying is when you force a hit on another player's character and calculate damage for them. Don't do it! This is another form of godmodding. Please give people the chance to either dodge, counter, or block your attack. Alternatively, don't get caught dodging everything as that can also be considered godmodding.
6.) No Metagaming!
Metagaming is when you use info you acquired out of character (OOC) to in character (IC) and use it in the RP. Don't do it! All information your character knows must be explained through in character means.
7.) No Killing!
No killing another player's character without their expressed consent. If you have a character die then you can always bring them back at a later date.
